1. Scope

During the first phase you and SUMit determine the project scope.

What is the goal of the project?
Which processes will be automated?
Where lies the border between automated and manual?

Usually it takes just a couple of hours or weeks to determine the scope. SUMit tries to minimize the scope of the project. It keeps the project duration short, increases the chances of success, gives quick Return On Investment and keeps users interested. Big projects are cut into multiple, smaller projects.

You and SUMit work on the project plan. This lists, amongst others the required investment, project duration and the required user effort. SUMit does not charge you for this project plan.

You decide to continue with the next phase: RAD.
